Now spite can be a powerful political tool, especially when used in the correct manner. I think much of Donald Trump’s success in 2016 was out of spite. For 8 years prior the world had been lectured to from the most powerful people maybe ever to exist. The same political and media apparatuses that called the population evil were ridiculing Trump, so the people decided to unify and support him against the establishment out of spite.
On a more local level, David O’Byrne has been recently elected in the Tasmanian election as an independent: out of spite for the Labor Party and the fraudulent MeToo movement. Tasmanian Labor Leader Rebecca White lost two state elections and O’Byrne therefore challenged and won the position in 2021. However, this lady was so determined to lose a third election that she led a coop against David O’Byrne through the use of fake sexual harassment allegations.
In 2007 and 2008 he was investigated by union officials for sending sexually explicit texts and kissing a young staff member. The investigation concluded that he had not conducted sexual harassment although had been inappropriate because he was essentially her boss. However, 13 years later and members of his very own party used this to attack and remove him from the leadership position. The egotistic Rebecca White would tear down her own party for another moment in the spotlight.
The saddest part of this is that Rebecca White and the cabal of Labor elites all knew about these accusations. They promoted, worked with and used David O’Byrne for 13 years. Then the moment it’s convenient, they lie and toss him away like a piece of garbage – tarnishing his name and legacy in the process.
The other dodgy thing about the returning of these accusations is that the alleged victim is the sister of independent politician Kristie Johnson. So the resurrection of these accusations came from a family member of an opposition candidate. It’s hard to even comprehend how evil these creatures are.
And it just gets worse; Kristie Johnson also tried lumping in other unsubstantiated sexual harassment accusations against him. She conveniently only stated these lies during parliament time, ensuring that she could not be sued for defamation due to parliamentary privilege. In response, David O’Byrne did what everyone should do in this situation. He asked for the evidence. He simply called their bluff and none of these filthy liars could provide any. He therefore left the Labor Party and successfully ran as an independent this election.
I discussed with many people in his electorate this election and they felt the same as I do. He was stabbed in the back and deserved better. He was threatened, beaten and ran through the mud. This was all done by a Labor Party that takes pleasure in sacrificing their own to an altar of symbolic progressivism.
Even though I don’t agree with O’Byrne on policy, I celebrated when he was recently reelected: now as an independent. The people witnessed his betrayal and decided that they would not allow it. They were empowered by spite for the political establishment and used this opportunity to say as much. In contrast Labor lost a third election with Rebecca White as leader.
